MIETC 4th project meeting

On June 19-20, 2023 the project Team of “Development of a Master Programme in the Management of Industrial Entrepreneurship for Transition Countries” (MIETC) organised their fourth meeting in Ashgabat aimed to promote the achieved results and created Master programmes.

The event was held in a blended format and brought together fourteen partners from six countries: Italy, Kazakhstan, Slovenia, Spain, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
The previous project meetings were held in February 2022 in Spain, in May-June 2022 in Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, and in March 2023 in Italy.

The NEO Turkmenistan Coordinator Ayna Chorekliyeva, addressing with welcoming speech highlighted the importance of the project activities, responded to the current changes in the Turkmen higher education.

MIETC was launched in early 2020 and currently is reaching its logical conclusion (March 2024). The project overall objective is to strengthen the academic capacity of Central Asian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Industrial Entrepreneurships through the development and implementation of interdisciplinary Master programme, and through establishing the sustainable cooperation between HEIs and the labour market.

There are four Turkmen partners in the project: two universities (Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management and Turkmen State Institute of Finance) and two academic members (Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and AST Technological Center).
