The conference "EU-Turkmenistan: Cooperation in the Field of Education" was organised by the EU Delegation to Turkmenistan on November 2, 2022 in Ashgabat with active involvement of the National Erasmus+ Office in Turkmenistan, and support of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of International Affairs of Turkmenistan. The conference agenda was focused on providing the Turkmen HEIs and secondary vocational schools with more visibility about existing opportunities of cooperation with EU universities within frameworks of Erasmus+ 2021-2027 and other EU educational programmes. The conference welcomed Turkmen ministries' representatives, heads of higher education institutions and secondary VETs, representatives of diplomatic institutions of Romania, Germany and France in Turkmenistan. Among participants attended the event virtually, there were Rector of the University of Ruse in Bulgaria, EU Coordinator of HiEdTec project, Coordinator of DARYA project (ETF), administration and HiEdTec project staff of the Turkmen State Institute of Energy, Oguz Khan Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan. |
